The pandemic stemming from the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus has pushed us all into isolation and has highlighted many ironies, including the resurgence of nature, as everyone sheltered in place for a few weeks. While the virus was spreading across the globe and thousands of people became very sick and lost their lives, the sun was shining in some places. There was a fresh breeze. Air pollution diminished somewhat as thousands of aircraft were grounded for a brief period of time. This piece attempts to capture both the anxiety and beauty of those days.
